At the conclusion of every exam you will meet with one of our optical specialists to review the doctor's recommendations. Our highly-trained specialists will then guide you finding the best lenses to meet all of your visual demands. Once your lens designs have been chosen, the frame styling portion of the consultation will begin. Whether you choose glasses to express yourself, dress to impress for work, or simply to be comfortable around the house, they will help you narrow down your choices so you can achieve the look, fit, and functionality you want and deserve from your eyewear!
Meet Our Optical Specialists
Amanda is an Apprentice Optician and Certified Transitions Specialist. She has been working as an optical specialist since 2017.
Amanda's expertise is creating unique frame and sun-lens combinations. Whether it is a colored transition lens or mirrored polarized sunglass, our patients are guaranteed to walk the streets in a one-of-a-kind pair of glasses. Her patient's often brag to their friends that they've never had as much fun picking out glasses as they did with Amanda.

While Christy spends most of her time as Practice Administrator, she can often be found assisting patients in our optical boutique. She has been a licensed optician since 1994 and serves as a direct supervisor over our apprentice opticians. Christy is also a Certified Transitions Specialist.

Olivia joined Eye Associates of Winter Park in 2024 as an Optical Specialist. She loves bringing smiles to patients' faces and boosting their confidence through expertly styled eyewear. Olivia excels at connecting with people, meeting them where they are, and gently encouraging them to explore new styles. Aspiring to become a licensed optician, she is passionate about educating patients on the benefits of transition lenses. Olivia is especially skilled at making our special needs patients feel comfortable and supported. She appreciates the welcoming, fun, and hardworking environment at EAWP, where every question is valued and addressed.

With an extensive background, including 8 years as a lead lab specialist for Essilor and a Certified Transitions Specialist, her expertise is invaluable. Cassandra's journey with us began as a clinical technician, and her versatility led her to serve as the clinic manager before assuming her current role. A true team player, Cassandra's willingness to assist wherever needed exemplifies her leadership. She oversees our optical specialists, ensuring they have the resources to deliver optimal patient care. Cassandra upholds high standards for the final product, guaranteeing every patient receives exceptional results.
